What Is IQ.DRIVE?
IQ.DRIVE is a collection of advanced driver assistance systems that work together to create a safer, more confident driving experience. The system utilizes front and rear radar, a front camera, and several ultrasound sensors to collect data from your surrounding area, creating a comprehensive view of the road environment around your vehicle. These features offer innovative technologies that help make it easier to get to Holiday Park while enhancing the safety of you and those around you. Travel Assist
Travel Assist is the centerpiece of IQ.DRIVE. This semi-automated driving assistant combines Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist to help keep your Volkswagen centered in its lane while maintaining a safe distance from other traffic. Travel Assist works at speeds up to 95 mph, and drivers must keep their hands on the steering wheel at all times. This feature is particularly valuable during highway commutes or long road trips, providing steering support and speed guidance to reduce driver fatigue around Indianapolis and beyond.
Adaptive Cruise Control
This takes traditional cruise control to the next level. When dealing with traffic on the highway, it uses sensors to detect vehicles ahead of you, helping adjust your speed, and manages the distance between you and what's in front of you. Front Assist
Front Assist serves as your forward collision protection. Active Blind Spot Monitor
This system addresses one of driving's most common hazards. This feature warns when another vehicle is in your blind spots and helps counter-steer if necessary, making lane changes on I-10 safer and more confident.
Emergency Assist
Emergency Assist provides a critical safety net. When IQ.DRIVE's Travel Assist technology determines that a driver is asleep or unresponsive due to intoxication or a medical emergency, it activates Emergency Assist. Before taking action, the system will provide a series of alerts to prompt driver engagement. If no response is detected, the system activates hazard flashers and brings the vehicle to a controlled stop.
Lane Assist
Lane Assist helps prevent unintentional lane departures. If you begin to drift into the other lane without your turn signal, Lane Assist will alert you when going 40 mph or faster, then help you counter-steer to help you maintain your lane.
